The transaction involved the supply, installation, and commissioning of a comprehensive suite of medical equipment across multiple Ministry of Health facilities throughout Egypt, covering a wide range of diagnostic, surgical, and intensive care equipment. The arrangement included a deferred payment and financing structure that allowed the Ministry to receive and deploy the equipment ahead of full payment, with a structured repayment schedule secured by government undertakings.

The legal structuring required careful navigation of Egypt's public procurement framework — which governs all government contracts above certain thresholds — alongside the commercial imperatives of a private sector supplier seeking bankable payment security from a sovereign counterparty.
