Donia
El-Mazghouny

Donia El-Mazghouny is the founder and managing partner of Mazghouny & Co. Before establishing the firm, she served as a partner at a tier-one Cairo law firm, where she led the Energy & Projects team. She founded Mazghouny & Co with a conviction that the boutique model — deep expertise, personal partner engagement, commercial intelligence alongside legal advice — would deliver better outcomes for clients working on Egypt's most complex transactions.

She has built a practice recognised internationally by Chambers Global, Legal 500 EMEA, and Who's Who Legal, and has advised on some of Egypt's most significant energy and infrastructure transactions: the country's first green hydrogen and green ammonia projects, Africa's first green project bond issuance, and multiple gigawatt-scale solar, wind, and battery storage financings.
